Mid & Senior Level Programmers

FrontRunnerHC is seeking highly motivated Mid Level/Senior C# Programmers responsible for building C# applications, including anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts. Primary responsibilities include designing and developing these applications and coordinating with the rest of the team to successfully work on different layers of the infrastructure.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable C# code

• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these issues

• Participate in the full development of life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, and retirement.

• Provide upgrade, enhancements and break fix solutions in an accurate, professional manner in a timely fashion

• Analyze system performance to ensure it is meeting availability and performance objectives

• Work internal and external teams to create new enhancements as well as troubleshooting and fix issues

• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments

• Attend and actively participates in departmental and interdepartmental meetings

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE​

• Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems and .Net Framework

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming

• Skill for writing clean, readable, and reusable C# code

• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns

• Knowledge of different concurrency patterns in C#

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL including standard CRUD operations, TSQL and Stored Procedures

• Experience implementing automated testing with unit tests

• Knowledge with software development methodology and release processes

• Ability to seamlessly transition between working individually, within a small team, and a part of a large group

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent technical degree is strongly preferred

• At least 5 years of experience in a professional environment designing and implementing C# software solutions required

• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL is required

• Healthcare or Lab System Experience a plus

• HL7 or other healthcare EDI experience preferred but not required
