Senior Accountant

FrontRunnerHC is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to perform all day to day accounting functions for our rapidly growing company.  You will be responsible for AP, AR, customer contract administration and invoicing, payroll processing, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and analytical, capable of setting and meeting deadlines and have exceptional excel skills. The position is an in-office position for our Plymouth, MA office reporting to the CFO.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accounts payable – enter invoices, track approvals, pay vendors

• Accounts receivable – manage cash collections, deposits

• Administer customer/vendor contracts

• Maintain customer records in Salesforce/SharePoint

• Prepare and send invoices to customers monthly

• Bank and credit card reconciliations

• Daily cash flow analysis

• Review and approve employee expense reports

• Create commission reports

• Process payroll for seven states

• Journal entries as needed

• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly

• Assist with monthly closing procedures

• Generate financial reports when necessary

• Assist with annual tax filings and audits

• Create standard operating procedure documentation for all accounting functions

QUALIFICATIONS

​

• Experience with multi state payroll and tax compliance

• Demonstrated proficiency with Quickbooks Online

• Experience performing an external audit, preferably in a software business environment

• Ability to prioritize in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment

• Able to maintain high ethics and personal integrity including a high level of confidentiality in all financial matters

EXPERIENCE

​

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting or related field

• 3-5 years’ experience

• Exceptional Excel skills required

• Experience working with a software company preferred

• Prior audit experience preferred
